MVP & SaaS Development · Ship your MVP in weeks, not quarters

For founders who need to ship — fast, lean, and raise-ready.

We help founders go from validated idea to launched product in 4–8 weeks. Lean scoping, AI-augmented engineering, and a tech stack you can actually scale on. The code is yours from day one.

When to hire us

  • You're a founder with a validated idea but no engineering team
  • You need to ship something users can pay for, fast
  • You're prepping a fundraise and need a working product to show
  • You have an MVP that needs to harden before scaling
  • You want a long-term engineering partner, not just freelancers

What is an MVP and how do you build one right?

An MVP — minimum viable product — is the smallest version of a software product that real users can actually use and pay for. The purpose of an MVP is to validate a business hypothesis with real usage data before investing in full-scale engineering: does this user problem exist, does this solution address it, and do people value it enough to pay? A well-scoped MVP is not a rough prototype or a demo — it is production-grade software with the minimum feature set required for genuine user transactions, but without the features that can wait until there's evidence they're needed. The distinction matters: too small and you can't learn; too large and you've wasted runway on features nobody asked for.

Nowgray works with founders at the idea-to-launch stage and with early-stage teams that need to accelerate. Our discovery sprint — typically one week — produces three outputs: a written scope that lists exactly what will be built (and what won't), a clickable Figma prototype the founder can use in user conversations and investor meetings, and a fixed-price quote for engineering. This means there are no surprises in the build phase; the scope is agreed before a line of code is written. Engineering runs in two-week sprints with live demos, so founders see their product taking shape and can redirect before a decision becomes expensive to undo.

The tech stack choices we make for MVPs are deliberate and investor-aware: TypeScript, Next.js, PostgreSQL, and Stripe are the combination that investors in Indian and US markets recognise as serious, and that survives technical due diligence. We include auth, multi-tenant data isolation, subscription billing, transactional email, and an admin panel in every SaaS build — the 'boring infrastructure' that costs 30–40% of total build time if built correctly, and causes 70% of production incidents if skipped. Post-MVP, we stay engaged as an engineering partner for most clients: the same team that built v1 builds v2, without the context loss of bringing in a new agency.

What we deliver

The capabilities, spelled out.

Discovery & lean scoping

What to build, what to NOT build (yet). One-week discovery → clickable design → fixed quote → start engineering. No 3-month requirements phase.

AI-augmented engineering

Modern AI-assisted dev workflow lets us ship more in less time. Same engineers, same quality bar — just dramatically faster on the boilerplate.

Raise-ready architecture

Stack that investors recognise (TypeScript / Next.js / Postgres / Stripe). Code quality, tests, and infra docs that survive a technical due-diligence.

Auth, billing, the boring stuff

Login, multi-tenant, subscription billing, webhooks, admin panel, transactional email. All the 'every-SaaS-needs-this' pieces, done right the first time.

Analytics + growth wiring

Product analytics, funnel tracking, feature flags. Know which users are activating, what's converting, what's broken — from day one of launch.

Beyond MVP

Most clients keep us on a retainer post-launch. Same team that built it scales it — without context loss or hiring panic.

What you get

Outcomes, not just hours.

  • Live MVP in 4–8 weeks, with real users by week 10
  • Source code, infrastructure, and documentation handed over — you own everything
  • Investor-friendly stack — no awkward conversations about 'why is this in PHP?'
  • A team you can keep for v2, v3, and v10 — most clients do

Let's scope your ship your mvp in weeks, not quarters.

Tell us what you have in mind — we'll come back with a clear plan, timeline, and quote.
